What difference does Chartered status make?

In 2010 Macbeth was awarded Chartered status by the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute). Regarded as the ultimate symbol of professionalism, it puts us in the top 5% of brokers in the UK. But what does it mean to our clients and associates?

When you see the Chartered logo, it tells you that a broker has committed to achieving the highest levels of knowledge and competence through professional qualifications. They’ve also pledged to keep their knowledge and skills up to date through continuing professional development. And they follow an industry code of ethics enforced by disciplinary sanctions.

In a nutshell, Chartered status is a trusted sign of knowledge, competence and ethical behaviour. And, after years of financial scandal and falling standards, it provides the reassurance many people are looking for.
