A1 keeps risk local

A1 is the one of the UK’s leading integrated waste management service suppliers, scrap metal dealers and vehicle de-pollution providers. When the multi-million turnover Wokingham-based business was looking to partner with a more local, client-focused insurance broker, it turned to Macbeth.

Established 40 years ago, A1 has experienced extensive growth in recent years, expanding into new fields such as wet waste disposal, metal recycling, car spares and loo hire.  Business diversification meant that specific insurance requirements have evolved and become increasingly complex.  To this end, the business actively sought out a local specialist broker, who was on hand to manage these changing needs.  The local presence was vital to A1, as they often need a quick response time on queries.
