The Pride of Reading Awards 2020 officially launch today!

As a Reading based firm, with many of our employees born and bred in the town, we are passionate about supporting local community based projects and charities and believe it is a great way for businesses to give back.

To that end, we’re proud and honoured to be supporting and sponsoring this year’s awards; and what a years it’s been! Quite rightly, the awards this year will be recognising and honouring the frontline heroes that have stepped up to the particular challenges presented by the covid-19 pandemic. The Reading community, individuals and businesses alike, have pulled together brilliantly to keep the town one of the safest and best places to live, work and play. Community workers, teachers, doctors, nurses, volunteers, entrepreneurs, bus drivers, fundraisers; there are so many deserving of recognition, and we look forward to celebrating, either in person or virtually, the exceptional efforts of all the amazing nominees.

More specifically, we will be sponsoring the Entrepreneur of the Year award, recognising an individual or team with an independent business venture in Reading. Operating a successful business in any kind of climate is a challenge, but to have done so in this pandemic and in a way that has supported the Reading community in some way is nothing short of brilliant. So if you know someone who fits the bill, who has perhaps experienced help from the Reading community to achieve their goals and who has played a role in helping the local battle against covid, nominate them before December!!
