Here at Macbeth Financial Services we are currently recruiting for a Financial Services Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the financial services team to help deliver good customer outcomes and ensure that regulatory requirements are met. The role is a part time permanent position with the hours of 9am to 3pm, featuring a competitive salary and a great range of benefits.

 

What will the role involve:

  • Using provider platforms to generate monthly pension and investment valuation reports for clients as part of our ongoing service offering.
  • Liaising with providers and clients to ensure letters of authorities and letters of appointment are dealt with efficiently as part of our advice process ensuring relevant information is obtained in a timely fashion.
  • Undertaking general administrative duties such as scanning, filing, updating clients with progress on a range of services and projects to help ensure that advice deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining accurate client records to ensure that our team are aware of progress of current cases and projects.
  • Continuously developing knowledge on a range of products and processes, keeping pace with developments and changes in our industry to ensure an effective outcome for our team and our clients.

 

Person Specification

  • Good communication skills.
  • Negotiation and efficient time management skills to hit deadlines.
  • Understanding of life insurance, pensions and investment products, the market generally and regulations.
  • Knowledge and experience of using computers and a variety of general software packages – the role demands a high degree of IT literacy.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated.
  • Some CII qualifications, equivalent experience or a willingness to study.

 

Previous experience of working in this type of role would be beneficial. Qualifications are important to us and we are willing to support you through any relevant exams and professional career development.
