Who I am

I’m Alex Palmer and I joined Macbeth in 2025 as Head of Finance, having previously worked on the general insurance side from 2013-2015.

My role at Macbeth

My role involves providing financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership, producing timely financial reporting, compliance and management of day-to-day finance operations.

Having rejoined the business after 10 years away in accountancy practice, it’s fantastic to be back, this time in a finance capacity. There are many familiar faces in the office as well as many more that are new! The environment we have, and team spirit are second to none and in the best possible way, it feels like I’ve never left! There is a real focus on development as well as a drive to succeed and I’m looking forward to further building my career here at Macbeth.
